The Challenge


The CRP wanted to develop a new tourism advert that was tailored to be highly shareable on Social Media, with a view to launching a new 'Wales On Rails' branded web site.

Our Approach


Traditionally Welsh Tourism promotional films have relied heavily on 'show casing' the exceptionally beauty of the Welsh Landscape and culture. Whilst this approach has worked well when delivered via bought TV commercial slots, it does not translate well to social media which is driven by different emotional, humorist and informational triggers. ​As such we created an advert designed to appeal to these triggers, using a combination of self deprecating tongue in cheek self humour, with strong visual content and information.
